Travel pool # 10 - Bilateral Meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates

President Trump entered at 2:25 pm (France time) for his bilateral meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Trump called their relationship "outstanding."

The meeting lasted less than 15 minutes.

Most of the same talking points with Iran. UAE President spoke briefly (and very softly) thanking the President for his support.

"See when you're that rich you can speak that low" Trump said about his voice to which the room laughed.

Reporter Nick Gilbertson asked if there had been any more discussions on Arab leaders joining the Abraham accord.

"This is a man who is very advanced," Trump said about the UAE President who was an original member of the Abraham accords.

He said he thinks they will "all start coming in"

"I have to talk to Lindsay he will be in big trouble," Trump responded to reporter Darlene Superville's question about Lindsay Graham not liking the MOU.

Trump said he wouldn't mind sending the MOU to congress for a full review

"What I would like to do is send it to congress and say you shouldn't approve it. And they will approve it" Trump said before the room started laughing.

Trump received a question from a foreign reporter on the strait of Hormuz and said it was such a nice way he asked the question and compared him to the American press.

"My people are so mean."

Question on the UFC fight at the White House from Sarah Dean.

Trump said he wasn't aware of the FBI thwarting an attack at the White House and made a joke about the attack he did see with the fighters.

Interesting that he was not briefed.

On the Versailles dinner invitation:

"I am a fan of beautiful places, and I was leaving in the afternoon and the French president who happens to be a very nice man invited me to dinner."
