WH in-town pool report #2/ POTUS in Oval Office for bell ringing

Pool entered the Oval Office at 9.22am. A golden bell engraved with ‘Trump Accounts’ is sitting on the Resolute Desk (for the NYSE and Nasdaq bell ringing). Nine children are standing in front of the desk.

Officials including Senator Ted Cruz and Kevin Hassett are standing to the side of the desk, near a lectern with a presidential seal.

POTUS entered at 9.26am to applause and said, “Hello everybody.” He noted this has “never happened before” and “This is going to be very interesting.”

He joked the press “don’t want to know anything about soccer slash football” and won’t be asking any questions about it.
