Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent was speaking about Trump Accounts but didn’t finish in time so POTUS rang the bell at 9.30am. There was loud applause. Bessent then completed his remarks.
POTUS said: “We’re thrilled to officially launch the Trump Accounts.”
POTUS went on to talk about the July 4 celebration, Venezuela and Iran. “The bottom line is our country is stronger.” Then he went back to Trump Accounts. Remarks are ongoing.
