In-Town Press Pool #4: Freedom 250 Grand Prix Showcase begins.
Pool set up on the sidewalk of Executive Ave across the street from the West Wing’s exit on the street. It is set to look like a makeshift pit with Firestone tires, “freedom 250 Grand Prix” and the freedom 250 logo on the pit barriers.
Two Corvettes are parked outside the exit to the West Wing.
A race car is being prepared to drive up in front of a podium with the presidential seal on it.
Secretary Duffy has stepped out of the west wing. Pit crew has the U.S. Dept of Transportation and Dept. of the interior logos on their uniforms.
At 1:30 PM pool received a 2 minute warning.
