In-town Pool Report #1 - Checking in

Good morning from the White House - I'll be your print pooler today.

There have been no changes to POTUS' schedule thus far. He has several closed press meetings today, including at 9:30 a.m. with newly sworn in Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.) and at 11:00 a.m. with El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele. I will advise if any of the events open up.

POTUS will deliver an address to the nation in the East Room at 9 p.m. Your pooler has asked if the pool will be let in to the address.

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt will also return to the podium this afternoon for a briefing at 1:00 p.m., her first since returning from maternity leave.
