WH travel pool report 7 — reception

Pool was brought into the building at 1715 and to the atrium of Trump Tower, which had been partitioned to create a small auditorium.

There is a small stage and a lectern bearing the presidential seal. To its right (left, from the audience) is a table or counter bearing the World Cup trophy.

There are 288 black wooden chairs arranged in rows of 18, with an aisle running down the middle.

Pool is the back. Beach Boys version of Sloop John B on the sound system.

The president’s remarks are being carried live on CSpan and possible other outlets. The WH YouTube channel is also likely to have it live.

Pool has asked who all is in attendance.
