Travel note 6: Deplaning at Dover / Dignified Transfer information

POTUS deplaned from Air Force One at 1038 ET.

He descended the airstairs carefully (it is windy), shook hands with greeters and proceeded directly to a waiting armored Cadillac Escalade which departed in a motorcade at 1040.

A White House official said he will “privately meet with the families of our fallen heroes” before the dignified transfer.
