Travel pool #3 - Cabinet meeting color

Pool went into the meeting at 11:27 am and exited at 12:28 pm.

POTUS gave opening remarks, noting this was the first televised cabinet meeting from Camp David and talking about his administration’s commitment to transparency.

He spoke on the municipal attack in Minnesota, the migrant crossings into Spain, the Trump Savings Accounts, Iran, and prescription drug prices.

At the end of the meeting he took questions on Iran, the deal with Hamas, Ukraine and FIFA.

VP Vance and Secretaries Rubio, Hegseth, Bessent, and Kennedy spoke.

The meeting took place in Laurel Cabin on the Camp David complex. All the golf carts were parked outside.

All Cabinet members were present except for Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who had a family commitment. Note that both Bill Pulte and Jay Clayton were there to represent DNI.

Each place has the name card, a notepad, a pen that said “Camp David” on one side and “Cabinet meeting” on the other, a glass of water, and a red coffee mug with the presidential seal.

The walls had presidential photos including one of a Trump cabinet meeting at the White House, a photo of President Trump with staff at Camp David, Eisenhower holding a cabinet meeting at Camp David, and a photo of John F. Kennedy.

Outside the meeting was a table with red hats and green hats with 45&47 stitched on the side.
