Out-of-town pool report 4: arrival at JBA

AF1 landed at 5:50pm. The president got off board at 6pm. He did not come over to speak to the pool. He saluted the officer at the bottom of the stairs, turned to the press, waved and pumped his fist, and then walked to M1, which he boarded at 6:01pm.

M1 took off at 6:05pm for the Ellipse.

Flagging that while AF1 was in the air, the president posted on Truth Social promoting Will Scharf to assistant to the president and White House counsel, replacing David Warrington.

One note: It looks like my last note about the brief departure delay got stuck in my outbox before takeoff and just went out, about 50 minutes late. AF1 took off around 5pm. Sorry for any confusion.
