The audience here at the convention center is full — with roughly 2/3 being used. Your pooler estimates a few thousand in attendance
The stage and backdrop is typical for a Trump rally: raised stage with raised bleachers, draped in red white and blue, behind and stage right/left… right American flags are in the space between the bleachers with oversized US/Palmetto State flags hanging from the rafters… “Make America Great” signage + video boards alternating between “SOUTH CAROLINA IS TRUMP/GRAHAM COUNTRY”
Not the typical Trump rally playlist… Olivia Newton John’s “You’re the One That I Want” followed by The Police’s “Roxanne” then Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”
