On Ratcliffe in Moscow, the president pushed back on speculation of some sort of non-public emergency, without being specific. "He is there on very sort of semi-routine. I hate to disappoint people...Something may come out of it. We are working very hard to get that war [Ukraine-Russia] ended."

On Iran's new Ayatollah. "I don't think he is dead. He was very seriously wounded, the left side of his body, the arm, the leg, the whole thing."

No open press events scheduled today. But that can always change.
