Out of Town Pool Report #10 Executive Order + Quotes

Trump announced that he would sign an executive order to begin the process of creating a new national academy called the U.S. Space Academy. He said he will be choosing a location for it soon, and that it will serve the United States Space Force as well as NASA and the civilian space flight industry.

There is a desk with a presidential seal to the side of the lectern where Trump will likely sign the order. A moon rock encased in glass sits on a pedestal next to the desk.

Trump also said one of his meetings was interrupted to watch the Artemis mission.

"The meeting was a disaster because after that was over, they were so excited. Nobody did anything. That was a total waste of time to watch them. But it really brought the spirit."

He called Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) a "good man."

"We've had good moments and bad moments together," Trump said.
