Out of Town Pool Report #12 Departure and Arrival at Mission Control

The vans departed the Space Center at 12:17 pm.

The vans arrived at Mission Control at 12:19 pm, and we are now inside the Mission Control Center. There are a handful of staffers seated at desks with multiple black computer monitors. More people, including Kratsios, are positioned behind them in a viewing area separated from the room with tinted glass windows. Satellite imagery and maps are shown on large screens in the front of the room.

POTUS entered the room to applause at 12:27. "This is a big space day," he said.
