In-Town Pool Report #4 - POTUS speaking

President Trump began speaking at 10:51 a.m.

He opened his remarks by saying the nation's capital is "one of the safest cities anywhere in the country," remembering those who died in 9/11 and complimenting the U.S. military for its efforts in the Iran war.

"We will never forget those we lost, and we will never forget the immortal heroes of September 11, 2001. And I will tell you, we're right now fighting because we have a certain nation that wanted a nuclear weapon," Trump said. "Iran will not have a nuclear weapon."

Back on 9/11, Trump said the United States will do "everything in our power" to ensure such an event never happens again.

"It was a day like no other," he said.
