Out-of-town pool report #14 - Vance protester/2028

About 15 minutes in, a few shouts could be heard at the front of the auditorium. Vance then said:

“What the people at home missed is that we just had a protester interrupting us and waving the Mexican flag. Well my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your ass over there, buddy.”

Your pooler didn’t see a protester or a flag but whatever was happening was at the front and far from where the pool is.

On speculation about whether he’ll run for

president in 2018 — to shouts of what sounded like “48” (the next US president), Vance replied: “We gotta take care of business this November then we can worry about thwart comes next “

Early speech talked about the “birthright” of Americans and Vance talked about the birth of his son six weeks ago

“And I will say that you should have been there when the organizers of the midterm RNC asked my wife, who had a two-week-old baby and three other kids that are very young, if she would come to Dallas, Texas, to to introduce her husband. She said, "Hell no, I got four kids to take care of.”

But much of the speech was dedicated to painting the Democrats as extreme and hate-fuelled,

“To the radicals who wish to abolish my family or any other, we say: Stay the hell away from our kids.”
