The 9/11 Pentagon victims were read. Name reading concluded at 9:32 AM. Solemn music followed. Then, a Chaplain held a moment of silence for the victims and a prayer.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine spoke from 9:43 AM until 9:48 AM. “We remember the 184 lives” lost at the Pentagon, said Caine.

Caine introduced former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Rice started speaking at 9:48 AM until 10AM. “The attack came quite literally out of the blue,” said Rice.

Secretary Pete Hegseth started speaking at 10:01 AM until 10:08 AM. “We never forget,” said Hegseth.

Hegseth introduced President Donald Trump.

POTUS started his remarks at the Pentagon at 10:09AM.

Trump said:

“Today we renew the sacred oath that we first swore in their names… We will never ever forget.”

“We will honor their lives.”

“We cannot forget that moment of immense and horrible evil.”

“We have to be strong and we have to be smart.”

“We were all New Yorkers that day.”

“25 years after the attacks we know the world will never return to the way it was.”

“We’re being tested today.”

“The Islamic Republic of Iran will never ever have a nuclear weapon.”

“No one can ever prepare for a day like 9/11.”

“September 11th reminded us of the terrible power of hate.”

“Today our country is stronger than it has ever been before.”

POTUS concluded his remarks at 10:26.
