Travel Report 4 - POTUS exits AF1 to red carpet and greeters

President Trump stepped off Air Force One at 8:39a local time and waved to the line of diplomats waiting to greet him on a red carpet.

The president, wearing a red striped tie, walked down the line shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries before stopping to salute an Irish military guard in a formal green suit.

“Have a great time everybody, nice place,” Trump said in the direction of the press before getting into the beast. It’s breezy here with gray skies, and there are lines of police officers ready to escort the motorcade.

Don Jr, Bettina, and the children followed and shook hands with the greeters after Trump.

We are now heading to Aras An Uachtarai, the official home and workplace of the president of Ireland. We should arrive in about 10 minutes.
