Travel Report 5 - POTUS arrives at Aras An Uachtarai

President Trump’s long and winding motorcade arrived in Phoenix Park and entered the gates of

Aras An Uachtarai around 9:10a local.

Outside the residence is a pretty green field with horses. The 2nd brigade is standing at attention outside the portico of the house, and a long red carpet leads to the front door.

President Trump was greeted by Irish President Catherine Connolly at 9:22a at the portico of the house. The two smiled and shook hands and Trump gave a fist bump before heading inside.

Meanwhile outside, a US group including Natalie Harp, Richard Walters, Dan Scavino, Erin Elmore,

Amb. Ed Walsh and Lynn Walsh, and Don Jr, Bettina and kids, were lined up in anticipation of the presentation of arms.

Trump is with Connolly inside the residence now, signing a visitors book and meeting the chief i’d staff and general commanding of the 2nd brigade, according to media guidance provided to the press.

On the road here, the motorcade drove through a tree-lined neighborhood where spectators, including some very cute babies and dogs, watched as the cars drove past.
