Travel Report 15 - Landed in the middle of the Irish Open

Right at 3p President Trump made a dramatic landing on Marine One on the shoulder of his Doonbeg golf course. Hundreds of spectators lined the dunes of the course to catch a glimpse of the landing of the two chinooks and the president’s chopper.
It appears play was suspended for the arrivals and the fans were watching the long motorcade that is snaked along the side of the course. Our press van was next to the 3rd hole tee box where Shane Lowry’s group was about to tee off.
Press has not seen POTUS and we are heading to the media space.
