in-town pool report #1 - checking in/no changes

Greetings from the White House. There have been no changes to President Trump's schedule, which currently has only one event open to the press pool. That's a 7 p.m. Rose Garden dinner. Your pooler has asked the White House for more information about the topics of the executive orders the president is scheduled to sign at 5 p.m., and just who will be joining POTUS for dinner. If any responses land, your pooler will pass them along.

As of 11:04 a.m., no Marine was stationed outside the West Wing.

The North Driveway and press area are awash in the aroma of freshly cut grass, as U.S. National Park Service workers have been diligently tending to the White House complex's late-summer lawns under an increasingly cloudy sky. More TK.
