The president stepped out of the Oval Office at 7:01 p.m. and is speaking. Event is being live streamed.
Lee Greenwood’s signature song is playing and POTUS is standing atop the small RG stairs.
Before Trump’s arrival, there was music from the now-familiar playlist. Your pooler bobbed and weaved from our position behind the large statue of Revolutionary era soldiers that now stands at the back of the Rose Garden to see guests mingling and chatting at their tables. With a threat of showers, the yellow and white umbrellas were out.
