A moment after the pool departed Mar a Lago, the pool vans split off from POTUS’s motorcade and turned into to the parking lot of a Hilton hotel nearby. A White House official said that the President pulled in to his golf property at 9:47 AM, but the pool did not witness this for ourselves. A clarification about the video this evening on the WH web site: The travel pool was not advised about the remarks that were streamed on the White House YouTube site, neither before, nor after. No members of the pool were present during their broadcast or taping. That was not the pool camera used. The president’s motorcade turned back into the driveway at his country club residence at 1516. The ride from his golf course was uneventful through streets closed to other traffic.
