The pool was hustled out to the motorcade as the balloon drop was finishing, with Trump still on stage (and he remained on stage for several minutes longer, per the live footage). President Trump signed legislation to establish the National Medal of Honor Monument in Washington DC. House Speaker Mike Johnson was among those on stage for the signing.
